About Us

Nepalese Neighbourhood Community was established in March 2019 and formally registered as incorporated organisation with Consumer Affair Victoria on 3 April 2019 incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012.


We are delighted to share that we have proud members mostly from Northern Suburbs of Melbourne - Epping, Lalor, Thomastown, South Morang, Mill Park, Bundoora, Preston, Reservoir, Broadmeadows, Coburg, Fawkner but not limited to. Our community is a great example of inclusive community which is not based on suburb or region. not based on suburb or region.

Key objectives of NNCI

  1. To preserve Nepalese culture tradition through continuous celebration any religious event and active participation of our community members.

  • To motivate people to participate in different community programs including cultural celebration, specific events and the events organised by other community groups.
  • To promote learning and understanding of other cultures which exists in the society and create sense of cooperation, integration and unity among the people.

  • To create a platform for planning and execution of various community events.
  • To create more cohesive, tolerant and inclusive communities that value diversity
  • To improve community physical health and wellbeing through sports and other activities.

  • To create a platform for our kids where they can improve their native Nepali language, culture, and religion.
  • To improve the social relationships within community members.

Connect With Us

Nepalese Neighbourhood Community Incorporate(NNCI) acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants and Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, learn, meet and work. We accept the invitation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and support a First Nations Voice to Parliament enshrined in the Australian Constitution.
